WINTER TRAINING INFORMATION
Practice Information
- The Winter Season will start the week of November 10th. Season will end after the NIT Tournament is complete (Middle to End of February).
- Registration will close on OCTOBER 15th
- Practices will be held at our very own, PA United Sports Facility (202 Piper Circle Annville, PA 17003). We practice on a sport court surface.
- We do not hold tryouts; everyone will make a team. We will evaluate the players during the first three weeks of season, then we will pick the teams for the season.
- U8 will only practice once during the week. They will not participate in any Spooky Nook Tournaments. We will host an in-house tournament at the last practice of the season.
- U10 will only practice once during the week (No Sunday practices).
- U12, U14, U16, and U19 will practice once during the week and once on Sundays.
- They will receive their practice day and time on October 22nd (There are two practice times during the week, but they will only be assigned to one day. They will be assigned the practice day and time. Each team will also practice on Sundays).
-PA United is run by Bri Price ( 3 Time National Champion at the University of Maryland, All American, State Championship at Palmyra High School, Coached Hershey to their first State Title, Named High School Coach of the Year and PA Coach of the Year).
- The entire PA United Coaching Staff has played high level field hockey (all played D1, D2, or D3 Field Hockey). They all have numerous years of coaching experience as well!
-At PA United we focus on advanced stick skills, game knowledge, attacking and defensive skills, and corner execution. We focus on a positive environment while having fun, working hard, and being successful at practices and tournaments.

Tournament Information
- U10 will play in four tournaments at Spooky Nook/ United Sports.
- U12, U14, U16, and U19 will play in four-five tournaments at Spooky Nook/ United Sports.
- Our top U10 team, top four U12 teams, top four U14 teams will participate in the National Indoor Tournament at the end of the season. This tournament is held at Spooky Nook.
- Our top five U16 and U19 teams will play in the National Indoor Qualifying Tournament. I will have additional information once the registration opens up for those particular tournaments.
- Each Spooky Nook Tournament is $75. You will ONLY pay for the tournaments you can attend. The tournament payments are due by November 17th. Tournament payments are non- refundable.
- The Qualifying Tournaments are $125 and the National Indoor Tournament will depend on how many players we have attending (typically $200-$250).
Practice Times and Days
- EACH PLAYER will be given a specific day and time to practice on October 22nd. You must attend the practice slot you are given. Practice groups will be based off of tournament teams, so they could change after the first 3 weeks (once we finalize the teams).

- U8 will practice on Wednesdays from 5:00-6:00 pm. Please scroll below for additional U8 Information.

- GOALKEEPERS will practice with their age group during the week and on Sundays. We will also host a Goalie Only Practice on Thursdays from 6:30-7:30 pm. We will evaluate the goalies and see if they are ready for the goalie practices. If not, we will have a goalie coach come to a handful of the practices during the week to work with them. This is run by our goalie coaches; Savanna Lenker, Cheyenne Sprecher, and Jess Reitzel. They are all top goalie specialists in our area! This practice is only for goalies, and it lets them focus on goalie specific skills and drills.

- U8 Practice Fee: $215
- U10 Practice Fee: $365
- U12 Practice Fee: $ 640
- U14, U16, U19 Practice Fee: $670
- U10 GKS Practice Fee: $300
- U12, U14, U16, U19 GK Practice Fee: $525
- The Practice Fee is due in full by October 22nd (Please let me know if you would prefer a payment plan. We can set up two- four payments if needed.

- Tournament fees are due the week of November 17th.

- You can send a check to 202 Piper Circle Annville, PA 17003. Please make the check out to PA United Field Hockey.
- You can pay with a credit card with a 3 % fee added on. Please reach out to me if you prefer this option.
Thanksgiving Shooting Star Information

August 17th OR 24th @ PA United Sports.
- U14: 1:00-2:00 pm
- U16: 2:00-3:00 pm

U8 Information
- The U8 program is designed for players in kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd graders (2nd graders that are new to field hockey. If you have been playing for 2 years, you can play U10). They will not need a uniform.
- We will practice on Wednesdays from 5:00-6:00 pm.
- The U8 season will consist of 10 practices.
- We will have our first practice on December 3rd and will have our final practice on February 18th (we will not have practice on December 24th or December 31st).
- The fee is $215.
- We will focus on stick skills, shooting skills, passing and receiving, attacking and defensive concepts, and game sense. We will focus on building their confidence and having fun!
Age Groups:
- You will be with your graduating year, unless you are born before July 31st, then you bump up an age group. Email me with questions.
U10: 2nd. 3rd, and 4th graders.
U12: 5th and 6th graders.
U14: 7th and 8th graders.
U16: 9th and 10th graders.
U19: 11th and 12th graders.
Uniforms
- You only need to buy a uniform if you are new to the club. We will continue wearing the same uniforms for the foreseeable future.
- Our PA United uniforms are Under Armour; you will get a size chart once you register for the winter season.
- If you are a current PA United member and you need a larger size, you can order that by the piece (skirts, tops, socks, pinnies).
Uniform Pricing:
$205- For new players: It includes two uniform tops, skirt, socks, pinnie.
- Uniform Top- $55 per color top.
- Skirt: $55
- Pinnie: $25
- Socks: $12
- Uniform payment is due the first week of practice.
- Each player will need an indoor field hockey stick, glove, shin guards, and a mouth guard. We will have Longstreth set up a shop at our facility the week before indoor season if you need to order any of the items above.
